Its purpose is to create works of Public Art to be enjoyed by the residents and the City of Greenville as a whole. Public art provides a tool for economic revitalization and creates community identity.
It represents a sense of community pride and brings people together. Moreover, public art attracts people to a community who bring a broad array of talents and experiences, further enriching it.

How did you fund COMP? The remaining program costs are covered by TGHA. Who came up with the conceptual de for the dumpster enclosure?
The mural concepts for each dumpster enclosure was shaped through de charettes with former and current residents of the Gallery at West Greenville. Schrimmer of the Blank Canvas Mural Company. In addition, neighborhood meetings continue to be held with current residents at the Gallery at West Greenville Club House to complete the des for the two remaining dumpster enclosures on the Gallery at West Greenville's campus.
The park has a large playground and an area for picnics. It will contain a total of 66 units, 54 of which will be project-based voucher units.
The former Westview units and community is under substantial rehabilitation. All underground utilities will be replaced, all new electrical wiring and fixtures, new HVAC, new kitchen and baths, and the addition of one bathroom in all but the one-bedroom units.
Washers, dryers, and dishwashers will be provided in all units. Outside the units new asphalt, concrete, and landscaping will be completed. Each one-bedroom unit includes an art studio.
The Harbor at West Greenville is currently undergoing comprehensive renovation of 57 row houses. The Harbor at West Greenville is conveniently located close to downtown and near the Pendleton Arts District in the West Greenville Neighborhood and will assure long term affordability for low and moderate income seniors in our community.
The Rex Williams Wellness Grant is a one-time grant sponsored by CAHEC, that provided funding toward up-fitting a wellness room with commercial-grade exercise equipment compatible for use by senior citizens.

The Revitalization Plan included the development of rental units and 26 single-family homes. Currently there are rental units and approximately 6 acres of vacant land.

Income restrictions apply on all single family homes. Rental assistance will be made available to qualifying families.
The library currently contains over books of which were received by the Library of Congress Books Surplus program. WFC also hosts a back to school drive every summer, just before school begins to provide book bags and school supplies to the resident children of TGHA.
